About

B. Alexandra

Brooke Watson is what you would consider a "Jill of all trades". Many ask what exactly she does and if you ask her, she would simply say, "I do it all".

Hailing from the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, Brooke is a product of the Prince George's County Schools and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Maryland at College Park. During her undergraduate years, she explored a variety of career paths to discern her passions, and ultimately her life’s work.

Brooke began her professional journey in the media and entertainment industry interning for Sister 2 Sister Magazine, Island Def Jam/Universal, and Bad Boy Entertainment. Upon graduation, she served as the personal assistant to Grammy-nominated singer, Raheem DeVaughn and later became the Product Manager for his former label, 368 Music Group.

Over the years, Brooke has worked in both the corporate & non-profit sector honing her talents as a consultant and project management extraordinaire. Her expertise in the areas of marketing, promotions, event/meeting planning, and fundraising has gained national recognition. Her clients have included the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF), the Washington, DC Pharmacy Association, the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), and the Stafford Foundation. She is empowered by working with mission-driven organizations and believes she is called to impact lives for the better. Brooke is a proud member of the historic Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA where she serves as the Director of CAYA (Come As You Are), a thriving young adult ministry that has become a model for churches and religious organizations nation-wide. CAYA recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and this occasion was commemorated with a Great Gatsby themed gala hosted at The Anthem (DC Wharf) with over 1,000 attendees.

In addition to her professional endeavors and service to her community, Brooke prioritizes health & wellness and emphasizes the importance of being of a strong mind, body & soul. She is the proud mother of Corey Watts ( CJ) who is the joy of her life. When she's not busy taking over the world, she is likely at an orange theory or soul cycle class, learning Beyoncé’s latest choreography or simply relaxing and enjoying the beauty of life.
